    Foodie review Nice vibe Good service Food good, but not what I was expecting. I'll start by saying I grew up in WI and love cheese! But damn the pizzas here are drowning in mozzarella! They put us both to sleep lol. Came here for my boyfriends birthday. We sat in the bar area which has tables with 1/2 bench seats and 1/2 chairs and has a nice vibe. The table ordered Caesar salad ( well dressed but not enough parmesan/ lemon), buffalo prawns ( good- large, juicy and tangy- on the salty side), a thin crust pizza, and a veggie deep dish pizza with pepperoni added. An old fashion, which my man liked. A lemon drop, which my mother in law liked and a rasp lemon drop that wasn't bad but did not taste like lemon drops I've had before. Okay pizzas: They have so much mozzarella that it falls off the pizza because it's not mixed with any other cheese. thin crust pizza was crisp and crunchy, my boyfriend liked and said he would reorder. Tasted better to me with some red pepper flakes and Parmesan since it was only mozzarella cheese so very stringy but not a ton of flavor. The deep dish pizza was not what I was expecting, not thick and bready like I've had in the past. The others said it reminded them of a croissant . It was a Crunchy flaky crust with loads of mozzarella, black olives, artichokes, green bell pepper, mushroom and onion, and plum tomato sauce on top. For reference I like chewy medium crust pizza usually but like the veggie delite from papa Murphys, use to love BJ's pizza and I have loved deep dish pizzas in the past. I just love flavor! They gave us birthday Sundaes which was thoughtful. All in all we had a good time. I might come back for a cocktail sometime but would not reorder anything I had. Prob like 3.5 stars to be honest but I'll round up to 4 since service and ambiance was nice

    This deep dish pizza was pretty good. It was tasty and the crust held up well to cheese and sauce. I'll definitely return.

    This place continues to be one of my favorites! The staff is so friendly and welcoming and the service is always on point! The food is delicious and the whiskey selection is great! Chicago fire offers flights for whiskey and a great cocktail menu. (And they even offer happy hour on Saturdays!) The bar is lively and they have outdoor seating with multiple fire pits, TVs and string lights for the perfect evening setting.
